Key Worker and Vulnerable Children (Spring Term 2021)

Please find below some useful information for those children who will be in school during the current closure.

Opening times 8.50am – 3.15pm

To ensure that we limited, as much as possible, the number of people on the school site we ask that only one adult comes onto the school site at drop off and collection.

Daily things to bring into school Coat, water bottle and school bag.  Please also provide your child with trainers in their school bag, just in case they decide to do an activity outside.
Lunches For those pupils who receive a Free School Meal (FSM) or Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM) a lunch will be provided by Caterlink.  Children in years 3 and 4 who are not in receipt of FSMs need to bring in a packed lunch each day.
Groups/Bubbles Pre-school/Robins
KS1 (Doves and Owls)
KS2 (Hawks and Eagles)
The children may not be within their usual classroom; however we have ensured that your child will have a familiar face (a teacher within their key stage) to support them throughout the day.
Learning in School All children in school will be completing the learning that has been set by their class teacher via Google Classroom whilst they are in school.  We will still expect children to follow our school values and behaviour rules.
What to wear Children will be expected to wear their school uniform at all times.  Please ensure they have a pair of trainers in their school bag in case they decide to so an activity outside.  Remember an extra layer as the school will be a little cooler than usual due to increased ventilation.
Illness/Non Attendance If your child cannot attend due to illness we ask parents to call in to advise of your child’s absence following the usual procedure.  If your child or a member of your household/bubble has symptoms of COVID 19 please do not send them into school – please let us know so what we can take appropriate action (for further details see https://hcschool.org.uk/symptoms-and-isolation/).
