Pre-School

We are part of a small village school situated in the centre of the Houghton Conquest village community. We are a setting that prides ourselves on putting individuals first, supporting each child to flourish.

As part of the new EYFS framework the preschool has put together some ‘Houghton Highlights’. These are learning experiences which we offer to help make the framework unique to our setting.

With your child attending our setting they will-
These are things which we feel are important for our children and they give them to opportunity to explore new things which they may not have the opportunity to do at home.

Our Ofsted inspection, as part of the school’s inspection in July 2019, rated us as good; “The pre-school offers children an exceptionally good start. Learning is vibrant, adults are well qualified and effective, procedures for welfare and safeguarding are robust.”
