We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, flexible, Communications Officer to join our school office team. You will work under the direction of the School Business Manager. We are looking for someone who has strong office skills, a good understanding of office systems and excellent communication skills. It would be an advantage to have worked in a school office environment, but not essential. The post is Monday to Friday 8.45 -3.30 term time only, however we remain flexible on hours/days of work and would welcome an open discussion.
The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, works well under pressure whilst always remaining adaptable and approachable. Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and interpersonal skills; understand that discretion and confidentiality are paramount. You will be required to stay to 5.00pm on one night of the week to administrate a main team meeting.
You will be joining a supportive team who are collectively passionate about the learning and outcomes for all children. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with previous employer and a DBS check.
Hours: Monday to Friday (negotiable) 8.45am to 3.30pm permanent position

Teaching Assistant with SEND experience
Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience working with SEND children? We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant at Houghton Conquest Lower School with experience of supporting SEND pupils, to join the team from September. The perfect candidate would be enthusiastic and passionate about SEND with a significant understanding of SEND needs.
Your role will be working within a dedicated team of TA’s supporting pupils with additional needs and across the school where needed, within small classroom settings.
You will also be responsible for contributing towards an inclusive learning environment striving for all pupils to have strong social and emotional understanding. You will have the opportunity to build your skills across a range of needs giving you a full experience of providing support.

Hours: 31.25hrs per week Monday-Friday – 9am to 3:15pm term time only. Plus 5 INSET days. Hours can be negotiable.
