We are delighted to announce that ‘Kidzone’ will be running a Wraparound Care facility at the school from September 2024. I am sure that you will join us in welcoming Kidzone to our school family.
‘Kidzone’ offer a high-quality service of Ofsted registered activity clubs for primary school aged children, in the form of before and after school clubs with a focus on children participating in a range of physical and creative activities around different weekly themes. The aim of the after-school club is to provide children with an exciting end to the day offering a different sport or creative activity each day where the children can let off some steam and have lots of fun! Children also receive a warm or cold snack during this time which can vary from wraps, sandwiches, pasta, pita, veg, fruit, breadsticks, crackers and more.
The club will be accessible for Reception to Year 4 children.
Club Dates: Wednesday 4th September – Friday 20th December 2024
Half term: Monday 28th October – Friday 1st November 2024
Inset Day: Friday 29th November 2024
* The after school care will run to 6.00pm in the first term to Christmas 24, at which time demand will be reassessed. The closure time may be reduced to 5.30pm in the unlikely event that there is not enough demand.
Breakfast Club 7:45am – 8:50am
The breakfast club runs from 7:45am – 8:50am, Monday – Friday. Children have a choice of indoor activities each day. Breakfast is included in the form of cereals, toast and juice.
The cost is £5.00 per session from 7:45am or £4.75 per session from 8:00am.
After School Club 3:15pm – 6:00pm
During “Active Hour” an activities leader will deliver a different activity each day followed by our ‘positive play’ to wind down with. Children will have the chance to earn the “Club Star” award at each club, rewarded for following our FUN agreement of having fun, keeping safe, playing fairly and showing respect.
The ‘Active Hour’ is open to all children at the school not just children who need to attend for childcare purposes; it’s a great opportunity for children to socialise, have fun and learn new skills with friends!
