1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant

Part Time: 15hrs a week Monday-Friday – 9am to 12pm term time only Plus 5 INSET days

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, engaging, inspirational and dedicated part time, 1:1 teaching assistant with experience of supporting SEND pupils, to work as part of our team as soon as possible.

Houghton Conquest Lower School is a one form entry Lower School in a small rural village. We are a values led school and welcome ambitious practitioners who are enthusiastic and passionate about SEND with a significant understanding of SEND needs. Your role will be working within a dedicated team of teaching assistants, predominantly supporting a pupil 1:1, on a named contract basis. There will be opportunities to work alongside other children within the classroom and across the school where needed.

You will also be responsible for promoting an inclusive learning environment striving for all pupils to have strong social and emotional understanding. You will have the opportunity to build your skills across a range of needs giving you a full experience of providing support.
