We are all extremely proud of our KS2 children who put on a magnificent performance yesterday. A big thank you to parents for coming to watch and for all their help with costumes. You were all amazing!
Year 3 have been painting their own canopic jars today! We have studied what types of canopic jars the Egyptians used when burying their pharaohs and have designed our own jars by molding clay. We have used gold and blue paint in order to create the patterns the Egyptians used.

Two weeks ago, Eagles class looked at the process of mummification. Each child mummified an apple. Two weeks later the children unwrapped them… We found that the salt removed the water from the apple which stopped the apple from rotting.
