Two weeks ago, Eagles class looked at the process of mummification. Each child mummified an apple. Two weeks later the children unwrapped them… We found that the salt removed the water from the apple which stopped the apple from rotting.

The whole school have been taking part in weekly mindfulness activities in assembly, including yoga, to help promote student’s wellbeing.
On 11th November, children from Eagles Class produced an informative assembly to the children of Houghton Conquest Lower School. The children shared their war poems and explained the importance of Remembrance Day to everyone.
