Ms Harvey has thought of a wonderful idea to start ‘Sid the Values Pebble Snake’ outside the front of our school, where you can decorate a pebble and add it along Sid’s body to see how long we can make him grow. It is a brilliant idea to welcome all members of our local village community, and those who are not at school currently, to come together in a display of community spirit during these difficult times. Underneath your pebble write a value like love, hope or patience then add it to the snake! Sid’s head, designed by the Keyworker children at the school, will appear on Monday (15th June) by the preschool wall, we hope you have fun creating your wonderful designs
What a beautiful sunny day to welcome back our pre-school, reception and year 1 children into school.
As you can see, the children have created some lovely birthday cards, to join the many thousands of cards that Captain Tom Moore has received!
It is great to see some of our children managing to get outside in the garden, enjoying themselves whilst still learning.
We hope you are all well and we are here to help if you need anything! Please either email office@hcschool.org.uk (for general queries/help) or your child’s class teacher direct.
Yesterday Robins and Owls cooked together, it was great to see the Owls helping the Robins. We made some lovely sausage rolls.
The children worked in their teams throughout last Friday carrying out fantastic science experiments; lava lamps, egg drop, skittle mixing and slime making.
