The children and their voice are integral to our plans. Our students are not just recipients of the plan; they are its most passionate drivers. Through our student council, Eco-Warrior group, and classroom discussions, students are actively contributing ideas, holding the school accountable, and championing change.
“We believe that climate action starts right here in our school. The decisions we make now will determine the world our children inherit. We are proud to lead by example.”
To deepen understanding and inspire action, we will host a dedicated whole-school enrichment day centred entirely on climate literacy and action. This day brings the curriculum to life, giving every student the knowledge and tools they need to understand the climate crisis and participate in solutions. We look forward to completing our ‘Pledgehog’!
Achieving net-zero by 2030 requires the effort of our entire community. We invite parents, carers, staff, and local partners to support our Climate Action Plan.
How can you help?
Commit to sustainable travel when dropping off and collecting your child.
Encourage waste reduction and recycling at home.
Talk to your children about the importance of environmental stewardship.

To support our goals and aims we are currently making grant applications to enable a redevelopment of the existing school pond area which we rarely use due to its inherent safety issues. We also wish to redevelop an area of the school field as a wildflower meadow increasing our biodiversity and inspiring green careers and to instil a love of the environment.
