The Friends of Houghton Conquest Lower School is a group of volunteers who organise fundraising events and school activities for the children of the Lower School and Pre-School. The main aim of the Friends is to set up and support the running of the Houghton Conquest Forest School for which all of the children in the Lower School and Pre-School will benefit from. In addition we will support the school in achieving the best possible education for every child through extra-curricular activities and equipment wherever possible.

The Friends current committee members are:
Chair – Kerri Barral
Vice Chair – Vicky Exworth
Secretary – Ruth Bull
Treasurer – Alex Bluck
All parents are welcome to join our committee or to attend our meetings which are advertised on the Friends noticeboards. We also need volunteers to assist us with our various activities, so if you would be interested in helping in any way please speak to a committee member or email us.
You can volunteer whatever time you can and would not be expected to be involved in all aspects of the committee’s activities; some members can only attend the meetings where the events are planned, some help organise the events and activities and some volunteers help run the events. Any time you can give to help is appreciated and benefits all the children in the School and Pre-School.
